"A Few Hours in Poughkeepsie" is a one-off photographic excursion from 1983.   As I walked around Poughkeepsie, I approached various individuals and asked if I could take a photograph of them.  I found most people to be open to my request.  Other photographs were taken as opportunity presented itself.  Over the many years since I took the photographs, the images on the contact sheet have repeatedly drawn my attention but I never found the time to print them.  Now, with the ease of scanning negatives, I have brought life to the images that lay dormant in my files.
