I have always been a big fan of the county fair.  The playful sounds and unique sights cannot be found elsewhere: children screaming as they spin about in a teacup, the smell of popcorn and cotton candy, the stalls with prized livestock, and the call of barkers as they tempt passersby on the midway to test their skills. And, of course, there are the magnificent and terrifying rides.  The photographs in this series, The County Fair, documents these rides, the space surrounding the rides, and the passing fairgoers.
