Night Visions is a collection of images taken at night of sodium vapor lights and, increasingly, LED lights with my 4x5 Wista Field Camera. The most recent images are from September 2026 while some date back to the early 1980's. I have always been fascinated by the singularity of streetlights and floodlights. Visually, the light is arresting in its mission to guide the way, and in fulfilling this function I see the photographs as metaphors of comfort and finality. (Web-based images low resolution scans of 4x5 and 35mm negatives )
