NYC is a great city to walk around in especially when staring upward.  When I lived in NYC in the 1980s I would tote my 4x5 view camera about staring upward and documenting the spectacular architecture.  I developed the sheet film in my single bedroom on Charles Street, and I exposed contact prints with a light switch and watch using a 15 watt bulb hanging from the ceiling.  It was simple, yet worked beautifully.   I have enjoyed revisiting the contact prints over the years and now, with these digital scans, I can easily share them on this website.
