"Look Again" - The human connection can be a most elusive pursuit as it requires an unspoken surrendering of pretenses.  As a photographer who stands behind the lens of a camera, the search for those moments is what I look for in a good portrait.  What is often lost in a portrait is a sense of time as a single image is frozen for inspection and judgment by the viewer.  By presenting two images it is my hope that the viewer will be compelled to travel back and forth between moments in time to "look again,"and in doing so achieve a fuller appreciation of the individual in front of the lens.  (Gelatin Silver Prints/Web-based Images from Copy Stand)
